The factory transfer case skid plate, if it's even present, really doesn't do much to protect the transfer case. If you do even mild off-roading, you should seriously consider upgrading to Rusty's Transfer Case Skid Plate. Trail Tested Tough, Rusty's WJ skid plate is constructed of 1/4" thick laser-cut steel and mounts to both the t-case crossmember and the unibody for a solid protection. A black powder coated finish provides lasting durability and good looks. It comes with all the necessary hardware and complete installation instructions.
This skid plate works with Rusty's Long Arm Suspension kits as well as most other popular long arm brands.
