Rusty's HD Tie Rod Assembly - JK Wrangler

The Rusty's Heavy-Duty Tie Rod for 2007-2018 is beefier than anything on the market and is packed with unique features! Rusty's HD Tie Rod starts with massive 1.75" x 0.250-wall DOM tubing, which is much larger and stronger than the factory drag link. Equally massive forged adjustable ends thread into the tie rod with jam nuts.

Rusty's HD Tie Rod for the JK Wrangler works great as a stand-alone upgrade or can be combined with our HD Drag Link to create a steering system that is nearly indestructible! Sold as a complete unit that includes the tie rod bar, tie rod ends, and jam nuts.

Please Note: You must have a 17 inch or larger wheel. The wheel must have 4.75 to 5 inches of back spacing. Back spacing is the amount of space between the back side of the wheel where the lug studs go through to the back of the wheel. The amount of clearance may still vary do to the construction of the wheel, bead style, thickness of the wheel and so on. Wheel spacers are needed on stock wheels and possibly needed on some aftermarket wheels. Rusty's offers compatible wheel spacers from a 1/4 inch to 1.5 inches thick. If not sure on your back spacing it would be best to measure it and also compare the thickness of the wheel and bead to a factory Rubicon style wheel for the best fit.
