All of Rusty's bumpers are proudly Made In the USA! There's none of that flimsy imported stuff here; Rusty's bumpers have been Trail Tested Tough for over 30 years.
Rusty's Xtreme Trail Stubby Rear Bumper for the JL Wrangler has the strength and protection you need for serious trail work. The Xtreme Trail Stubby bumper is constructed of 3/16" thick steel that has been laser-cut and CNC-formed for an exact fit, and the design incorporates a pair of massive 3/4" D-ring recovery points. Our computer-aided design emphasizes strength while eliminating unnecessary weight. The bumper covers the entire rear cross member on the frame, but it remains tucked up high to maximize ground clearance and departure angles. It is secured with massive 3/4" diameter hardware using factory frame mounting points. This is one solid rear bumper that won't let you down in the rough!
This Xtreme Trail Stubby bumper is a durable and attractive upgrade, featuring a satin black powder-coated finish and designed with serious off-road enthusiasts in mind. It's compatible with your factory hitch, so you won't lose that functionality. When it comes to spare tire fitment, there's a key point to remember: if you're using aftermarket wheels with more than 5 inches of backspacing, your spare will mount in the factory position without issue. However, if you have stock wheels or any wheel with 5.25 inches of backspacing (Stock Backspacing), you'll need to either raise the tire and wheel or pair the bumper with a Rusty's JL Wrangler Spare Tire Relocation Bracket or a Rusty's JL Wrangler Tire Carrier to ensure proper fitment.
This bumper comes standard in a Satin Black powder-coated finish.
